Chaos Deamons on the Horizont !

Hi there painteholics,

Rumors were out there that Chaos Deamons are coming next Month. This Video proofs it to be right. But what is really interesting is the Booklet that comes alongside the WD. Its a codex update to both Deamons of Fantasy and 40K. Not only rules for new models but rule updates for existing ones. Hoepfully we will see such an update on other races soon. I wouldn't mind getting some point costs corrected in my tyranid codex :P

Back to the brush, since Games Day is just around the corner. Paint, paint, paaaaaaaaaint

cheers,

Simon

Golden Demon Work and Tyranids

hey there painteholics,

after being F***** up by nasty Virus bombs I need to get into the mix again. Because lets face it: Games Day is just around the corner and there are some unfinished projects going on. So here is a very very rare workbench photo during my GD painting session. I am not a fan of posting project pictures before GD so this will be once in a lifetime thing :P

What else, what else. I will be showcasing my entire Hive Fleet Daggoth at GD Germany this year. Here is a quick made Group shot picture of what awaits you. The Bio Titan will stay at home due to transportation issues.

Long time no Read

Hey there painteholics,

I know its kind quite from my site of things but several real life stuff keeps me kinda busy atm. I got a real badass Virus infection and was in the hospital for some days. After this I thought I would be back on track again but in my holiday I got a call from the doctor who told me I got another Virus. Yay!
Making a long story pretty short: I am on my way to be 100% healed again but I am still pretty weak due to all the medication etc. I still hope I can attend Games Day in cologne and the doctors say I should be fine then.

Sadly I won't have half as many Golden Demon entries as I planned due to this virus crap. I try to finish up the nearly finished stuff but we will see what comes along in cologne.

After all this I have some nice stuff for you. Virus or not, I was on holidays two times in the last few months and here are some inspirational pictures for you :)

Hope to get some more postings online soon,

Miniature holder by Stephan Rath aka derwish

Hey paintaholics!

Two months ago i wrote a thread about the awesome Painting Class in Munich by Stephan Rath. At the begining i lost some words about his miniature holder. Now he sells some of them! Don´t miss it to buy one of them, i can really rcommend them. It makes the live of a painter so much easier :) But be fast, because there are going fast out of stock!

"With this Miniature holder it is possible to minimize the tremor while painting or sculpting. At first glance, the holder looks a bit strange and you don`t know how and if the thing might help. But the enlightenment comes when you have worked with it.

I could now convince many painters and sculptors of my tool and the feedback was 100% positive.

The facts:

-Comfortable handling

-Precise painting and sculpting without to tremble, by resting your brush holding fingers on the wire bar.
-The wire bar is rotatable around the workpiece (360 degrees)
-Without contact: The workpiece must never be touched with the fingers

-Suitable for painting and modellations

-Suitable for single miniatures 28-54mm, small busts, etc.
-Suitable for right-and left-hander
-pinned workpieces can be fixed in the cork, miniatures on custom bases can be fixed on the ceramic base   with Patafix
-Every single miniatures-holder was made by me by hand and checked for function.
-Wire bar can be disassembled for priming your miniature and to remove the finished work
-Available in two versions, small for 28-32mm mini's and large for 54mm miniatures

Prices:

• Miniature holder for 28-32mm = 12 €

• Miniature holder for 54mm miniature. = 12 €
• additional ceramic cork base. = 6 €

• special deal:

3 miniature holder (sizes can be mixed) = 32 €

Shipping:

to european union = 6 €

U.S., Australia and all other counties = 7 €
to Germany = 4 €

I've made a lot of them. But once I have sold all, I write a note on this blog.
